The boys had a great time over the summer on vacation at the lake with their Grandma, PopPops, Aunt Amy and Aunt Mandy. They went fishing and swimming in the lake and had such a blast! Kennedy missed them like crazy but had fun with Mommy and Daddy too!
We're all ready for this new school year! Griffin has started the first grade and loves it! He has a great teacher and being a first grader is such a big deal! He has weekly spelling, math and reading tests and he gets his own desk at school! Oh, and he's just lost his second tooth!
Garrett is a kindergartner now! He loves his teacher (same as Griff's from last year) and is already making new friends. He's taking the responsibility of being a kindergartner very seriously! "It's a big deal Mom!"
Kennedy is 2 1/2 now and such a big girl. She potty-trained herself in only a week, (far out-doing her brothers) and is doing a great job! She loves babies and princesses. We play dress up all the time and she loves it!
Brian is starting his last year of school at Southern Illinois University and will graduate with his BS in Sociology in May '12! Yay! I just graduated with my BA in Philosophy this past May from the University of Illinois and I will start my Masters in the philosophy and history of women this fall.
Life is still hectic and crazy, as always, in the Gallagher house. We always seem to have something going on.
